Atma Shakti Yoga Retreat Terms & Conditions

Everyone participating on this retreat, does so at their own risk.  The organizers of the retreat are not liable for any accidents, illnesses or
injuries that may occur during the retreat.  All costs incurred by illness, injury, accidental dismemberment or death are the sole
responsibility of the participant.

All retreat participants must arrange appropriate travel visas and other travel document such as travel & health insurance before
attending the retreat.

The deposit of $150 is non-refundable unless the organizer/s must cancel the retreat for any reason or reschedule it for a time that is no
longer convenient for the registrant.  A 50% refund on the full payment will be given if registrant decides to cancel prior to departure.
Once in India, there are NO REFUNDS given.  For this reason, it is also recommended that you obtain cancellation insurance that will
cover both your flight and the cost of the retreat.

In case of any currency fluctuations or amendment in local Government taxes or any fuel hikes, the organizer reserves the right to adjust
the tour price accordingly.

This type of retreat is one that allows alternatives and requires a degree of flexibility. Changes in planned itineraries may be caused by
unforeseeable circumstances.

No refunds will be given for services not utilized. If anyone is unable or does not choose to complete an itinerary while on holiday, the
organizer is not liable to supply alternative itineraries, excursions, accommodations or services for the period when the client is not
participating with the group.

All efforts will be made to ensure that participants are happy with the complementary courses they have selected.  If after one class the
student feels that they may have made a mistake, they may make a request for a class change provided they are prepared to cover the
difference in cost if the course elected is more expensive.

This is a trip to a culture very different from our own.  In order to obtain the greatest benefit from this experience, we ask that everyone
comes with a positive outlook, a commitment to learn and most importantly, a respectful  attitude for the techniques and the teachers.

The organizers reserve the right to terminate a participant's involvement with the retreat if they commit an illegal act or if they demonstrate
behavior that is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to the other group members. Inappropriate behavior may consist of alcohol
or drug abuse, abusive language, gossiping, excessive rudeness or temperamental outbursts toward locals, participants, teachers or
any else involved with this retreat.  In this case, the participant may be asked to leave the retreat, will not be re-admitted at any other time,
will forfeit his/her participation fees with no entitlement, complaint or refunds and shall bear all the extra expenses related to his/her early
departure.

Although every effort will be made by the organizers to ensure that everything goes smoothly, this being India, things do not always run as
efficiently as we have grown accustomed to.  Trains may run late, programs can be changed without warning, illnesses might affect not
only first time visitors but your facilitator as well.  During the first week of arrival, it is important to allow yourself time to adjust to your new
environment. Changes in climate, food, time zones and of course, jet lag may result in frayed nerves and short tempers.  Therefore it is
extremely important that you embark on this journey with a sense of adventure, prepared for the unexpected and for possible
inconveniences not generally experienced in the West.  Patience and a good sense of humor will be your most valuable attributes during
this essential period of adjustment.

In due course you will come to realize that most of these aforementioned "inconveniences" actually contribute to much of India's charm.
You will begin to experience the freedom that comes from releasing preconceptions and "going with the flow".  By keeping the channels
of communication open and through exercising tolerance and kindness toward others, all adversities will be transformed with grace and
you will be rewarded with many happy memories.

Namaste,
